Farewell: Thomas was no Joke

Thomas Ølholm is now back home in Denmark after his two years contract with Ms Uganda expired.

He was internally transferred from Community Welfare Initiative (COWII) in Gulu to Hoima District Farmers’ Association (HODFA) in Hoima in August 2002 due to rising insecurity conditions in northern Uganda. The professional agriculturist (animal husbandry)spent one year with HODFA working as an agricultural advisor as well as an organisational advisor. He was very resourceful in the field of animal husbandry and group formation.

Thomas remained focused to his work, no jokes. He will always be remembered as a man who maintained his point of view. He said good bye to HODFA on 17^th September 2003. (bd)
