Supporting partnerships

Among the current MS projects with focus on supporting partnerships are

Street basketball in Lebanon and Egypt
Through the so called DEMENA fund MS ActionAid Denmark in 2008 supported a Danish organization, GAM3, arranging street basketball in Lebanon and Egypt. The aim of the project is to create cross cultural ties between the participants of different religious and ethnic backgrounds and to strengthen civil society through sports.

Supporting young Egyptians to become agents of change
In the beginning of 2009 MS ActionAid Denmark supported a joint project between Copenhagen Institute for Future Studies and the Egyptian NGO Nahdet El Mahrousa. The overall aim of the project was to help a group of young Egyptians to think more pro-actively about their future and to create cross cultural dialogue between Egyptian and Danish youth.
