The Objectives:

1. To provide a forum through which civil society can discuss and adopt a better co-ordination mechanism of peace building and conflict resolution initiatives already in practice within Uganda, the Great Lakes and other Regions.
2. To create a platform for sharing ideas, experiences and good practices on issues of peace building / peace making, conflict resolution and reconciliation.
3. To promote Good Governance as a pre-requisite for conflict resolution and the provision of a favourable environment for continued and sustainable development.
4. To lobby for accountability on the part of governments especially in their peace-building and conflict resolution methods.
