NewZ June 2004

What Do You Want to Read?

MS-Zambia partners want to read about each other and developmental issues, tells the NewZ reader survey, which was conducted in January 2004.

Manja Kamwi, Information Officer, MS-Zambia

40 questionnaires were filled in and returned to MS-Zambia after the Annual Meeting in February this year. Overall the readers of NewZ are very satisfied with the content of the newsletter.

But a majority would like to read more about other MS-Zambia partners, their activities and experiences in their work.

Further a large majority of the readers who participated in the reader survey appreciates articles on developmental issues in general.

As a pleasant surprise many of you also asked for more debate and comments from readers on the topics covered in NewZ and developmental issues in general.

MS-Zambia wishes to thank all, who participated in the reader survey.  We will work to meet your information needs and wishes.

Facts from the Survey

Access to NewZ

Half of the participants indicated that the newsletter is available to other people besides the staff and volunteers. However, the other half said no, due to limited copies of the newsletter. It is not within the means of MS-Zambia to send out more copies than is already being distributed. Please make sure that people have access to the newsletter. Don’t leave it at home but bring it with you, leave it at the office and give other people a chance to read it.

Gender Imbalance

Of the 40 people who participated in the NewZ reader survey only 12 were women.
