Lukangaba Livestock Group commenced planting nurseries for pasture and live-fence seeds in December 2003.

The nurseries were established in three different zones namely: Kalaba, Nyense and Milonge.
The group acquired funds from MS-Zambia.
The amount granted to the group was utilised in: Farmer training, which included the following aspects: Livestock, procurement of pasture and life-fence seeds, and procurement of livestock drugs.
The drugs are sold to members and the local community on a profit basis.
