CCM Gaza - Mozambican Christian Council
The Mozambican Christian Council (MCC) is a religious organisation that brings together those Christian churches in Mozambique that accept its statutes and do the same kind of work. MCC has its main office in Maputo and has provincial delegations in the country’s provinces as well as representations in some districts. In this case the representations in Inhambane and Gaza provinces are in Maxixe and Chibuto, respectively.

To contribute to the development of the spiritual and material lives of the believers from the member churches and of community members in general, MCC facilitates the implementation of a number of activities, among them evangelisation, emergency activities, training for community development, transformation of weapons into hoes, civic education, activities concerning food security, HIV/AIDS, education, health, building and maintenance of peace, management, conflict resolution through the work of its staff at the ecumenical service departments, administration and finances, and programmes within the scope of PARPA that organise the communities in the provinces to participate in these activities with the aim to reduce the impact of poverty in the communities.
