ADPP - People to People Development Aid
ADPP-EPF-Inhambane is an institution devoted to basic level teacher training, which was established by “ADPP – Associação Moçambicana de Ajuda de Povo para Povo”. ADPP has its head office in Maputo and is an aid organisation based on the concept of humanism in solidarity.

ADPP-EPF-Inhambane started up its activities in 2006 with the objective to train teachers to become gifted with knowledge about science and life skills, so that they can be of benefit to rural community members in helping to improve their lives through the implementation of small projects within sanitation, improved latrines, tree planting, alphabetisation, animal household, sewing, school gardens, etc.
Vision:
A Mozambican society with a well educated people that is able to interact with the environment in a balanced way and to profit as much as possible from it for a better livelihood.
Mission:
Contribute to the development of a relevant and significant basic education, based on active participation from the communities and on the promotion of a culture of active participation in decision-making processes.
Main activities of ADPP-EPF-INHAMBANE
§ Training of teachers for the basic level, who become highly qualified to teach in the rural areas in the province.
§ In-service training of teachers within the area of new teaching methodologies.
Target group:
- Direct: Young people, graduated from 10th class.
- Indirect: School community and neighbouring areas.
