Human development in East Africa
10. April 2005Every year United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) launches statistics on human development in the worlds 177 nations.
According to this years statistic Norway ranks at the top while Sierra Leone is positioned at the bottom. All the East African countries fall within the category of low human development as number 146 (Uganda), number 148 (Kenya) and number 162 (Tanzania).
