Life as a Refugee from Southern Sudan
The conflict situation that last over two decades in southern Sudan before the signing of peace agreement between the Sudan Government and the SPLM in January 2005 led to displacement of thousands of Sudanese into many countries.
07. March 2007One of the MS partners, Sudan Human Rights Association (SHRA) is concerned with monitoring the situation of refugees in their camps, empowering refugees with the ability to manage the challenges of their human rights situation. SHRA also advocates for refugees rights to be respected, promoted and defended. And shares stories about its work and interaction with refugees on its blog.
