We are the true daughters of this mother land
Kenya our mother land where we belong
And we will always belong
Gentlemen my brothers who are you?
My sisters have you not heard
The saying of the wise men?
We are the true son of this soil
This soil of ours
This soil we are reclaiming
It is our soil.
We are the sons of this soil
Oppression, discrimination and marginalization!
When will this end?
Are you part of the problem? Or part of the solution?
During the struggle for independence
it was a race issue African versus Mzungu
Home guards betrayed their brothers and sisters
Mau Mau fought to gain back our land and dignity
With forty years of uhuru have we regained our land and dignity?
Je tumekula Matunda ya uhuru?
My sisters and brothers tell me the truth
Did we?
When will this end?
Are you part of the problem or part of the solution?
Kwani wewe hujui we got Uhuru
Yes we got back our motherland, Kenya
Oh no wait a minute but …
Where is it and who has it
Where is the land?
Who owns the land?
Brothers and sisters
When will this end
Are you part of the problem or part of the solution?
Relief food has become a staple diet
Grazing land has been taken away
Women and children mourn and cry for their losses
But where are our men?
We are also moaning
But who hears! Who hears!
Yet, lo! And behold!
Tracts lie unutilized
It is called private land
Fenced for elephants & sport hunting
Giraffes and Zebras to graze freely
While human beings crowd in the slums
Yes in the slums with flying toilets
When will this end?
Are you part of the problem or part of the solution?
Oh yes! alas! There is hope
There is light at the end of the tunnel
Isn’t it?
The unbwogable team is here!
With a new dawn
Yes zero tolerance to corruption
Yes no child will be out of school
Yes free medical care for all name it
Come again- what did you say?
Am I listening to the right voices?
Has the team become bwogable
Is it Land clashes again?

It is ten millionaires against thirty million beggars
It is the rich against the poor
The halves against the have nots
Wooi my sisters and brothers
Look at my shoes!!
And look at my shoe-less feet
What did I hear they are full of?
Brothers and sisters are we all equal?
We have killed the past
The present is dying
Groaning
Moaning
