New programme officers join MS

“With the experience and skills I have, I wish to do my best for MS Uganda and her partners,” says Margret Logose Henyerere. The one new programme officer is 36 years and has studied sociology at Makerere University and gender practice in east and southern Africa at the university of Sussex in the UK. She has a certificate in project planning and management. Before joining MS Uganda, she worked for Action Aid Uganda, the Uganda participatory Poverty Assessment Project under Ministry of Finance, and for the UNDP as a UN Volunteer in Tanzania, Kyrgyzstan Republic and in Bangladesh between 2000 and 2004.

Enock Mugabi, 40, holds a Masters degree in women and gender studies and a bachelor degree in social science from Makerere University. He also holds a postgraduate diploma in project planning, management and evaluation from the Pan African Institute in Zambia. Before joining MS Uganda, he worked as a programme officer of the Uganda National NGO Forum.

“The experience of MS Uganda is good because it works with partners in different parts of Uganda, the work appears interesting and challenging,” says Enock Mugabi. (ce)
