Danish Foreign Affairs Commission in dialogue with youth from MS youth dialogue program in Jordan

30. January 2008

Members of the Danish Foreign Affairs Commission (Udenrigsudvalget) visited MS’s youth dialogue program Monday January 21st as part of a two day tour to Jordan to study the different Jordanian elements in the SAID program. The members of the commission readily entered into dialogue with the Jordanian youths involved in the program. It was an interesting meeting and the participants discussed different issues. The main topics of the meeting were why it is important to have dialogue between two countries like Jordan and Denmark and how a project like the one MS has developed can enhance dialogue. Another topic that was discussed was the cartoon crisis and the Danish participation in the Iraq war.

It was a one hour session followed by heated discussions over the bite of falafel and hummus.
