MS in Kenya

MS Kenya is working for democracy; by making people aware of their rights; by empowering people to demand their rights and by building people’s capacity to achieve their rights.

Since 1968 MS Kenya has been working together with Kenyan civil society organizations. Currently close to 20 NGOs, community based organizations and faith based organizations are partners of MS Kenya. They are clustered in Western/Nyanza, Isiolo-Marsabit and in Nairobi.

We link partners from the very local community level to the national level. All partners receive financial and technical support from MS Kenya to carry out programs within three fields of acitivity: building local democracy, fighting corruption and establishing peace/ resolving conflicts.

Advocay, good governance and gender equality are cross cutting issues in all MS Kenya’s support to partners.
