Come join the fight for a more just food system!

Are you interested in who produces your food and the systems in which it is being done? Maybe you are passionate about the transformation of Danish large-scale agriculture or maybe you find it deeply unfair how coffee and chocolate are grown under exploitative working conditions before being imported to Denmark? Then come join our food justice group! In this group there is room for many different angles and perspectives on food; as a cultural expression, as an unethical consumable product, as a social space, an expression of economic inequality or whatever else comes to mind when thinking about food.

The group varies between hosting activities and events surrounding the topic of food justice and food production, but also gathering for more strategic meetings, which can include planning the activities. In addition, the meetings also serve as an opportunity to talk about what the group finds interesting to delve into and what the upcoming activities may include. Activities and meetings alternate each other with approximately 3 weeks between them, but can vary depending on what the group finds best.

The group's previous activities include visits to local farms, where they have been taking part in production and learned about the conditions of running a small-scale farm in Denmark. In addition, the group has developed its own quiz game about different foods and their invisible traces in people, ecosystems and value chains along their journey from seed to finished products in a supermarket.
