International tax justice conference

Tax for Development - The Role of European Policy Makers was held at the 12th of December 2014 at the Danish Parliament Christiansborg. Link to all presentations below

The conference brought together European and African policy makers and experts, who discussed how Denmark and the EU can take lead on stopping corporate tax dodging in developing countries. 

The debate was lively and at times heated. Key policy makers and leading tax justice experts Richard Murphy, OECD’s Pascal Saint-Amans, Eurodad´s Tove Maria Ryding, Mojanku Gumbi special advisor to President Thabo Mbeki, SAS, ActionAid and other experts discussed how the development countries can be more involved in creating global tax policies and what steps European policy makers should take to prevent tax dodging.
